At about this time last year, I posted a link to an amusing analysis of Fletch – Chevy Chase’s movie character, a wacky news reporter – and how his tactics clash with the SPJ Code of Ethics. This week, I found something similar online (although it was posted last year, too). This time, high school students in Aurora, Mo., used the code to dissect the journalism story line in an episode of the old Andy Griffith TV show (http://southwestregionnewsservice.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html).
